I am excited to say that by way of album sales I have completely paid off my latest project :) This is really exciting because the album has only been out for about 4 or 5 months! So if you have purchased "Moving Ahead" THANK YOU soooo much!!! I really appreciate all the support I have received from everyone! Now I can start putting any profit I make towards the 3rd cd that I have been busy writing material for! I have tentative plans to start recording sometime around the beginning of the next year...

Here are some videos of me and my friend Ivan Lopez singing a song off of my CD "Moving Ahead" Me and my good pal Frankie Taylor wrote and recorded this song together for the album...

in this one our voices didn't sound mixed on the platform cause my mic was louder and the music was quiet in the monitor mix... but in the audience i heard it was an even mix... anyhow this is the backstage view in Hanford...lol

I am back from tour now and I am SERIOUSLY missing everyone so much!!! This year was a blast and definitely blew last year out of the water... Bro. Fitz did an awesome job in leading the choir once again! The passion that he has for young people and the WAY choir is incredible! God did many powerful things on this years tour and I think that everyone of the choir members were spiritually fed!

I was extremely honored that Bro. Fitz asked me to sing a song off of my CD each night during the choirs vocal break... below is a video of me singing "Yours Completely" in Citrus Heights, I will post more videos of me singing as I upload them!

Praise on the Mountain this year! I am so excited but really nervous about all this! lol I guess I will be singing around four songs as the "opener" for the concert this year! I cannot wait to select the musicians for the band and begin rehearsing... its going to be a lot of fun! I really hope that God will move in a mighty way this year not only through me but though every other singer and musician that will also be singing or playing that day... so be sure to come and check it out! Update!!!

The CD has been out for a few weeks now and I am really pleased with the feedback that I am hearing back from people! If you have already bought the album I would love to know what you think, what songs are you favorite, etc...

I hope that I can go on some kind of a church tour sometime in the fall months! I have been discussing it with my parents/pastor, and some musicians for a few weeks now and it really looks like it very possibly could happen! This is VERY exciting and nerve wrecking for me! lol

Keep me in your prayers because recently God has been really opening up some doors for me in my ministry! I'm really excited cause he is unveiling his will for my life more and more everyday! I really want his perfect will to happen in my life and with my music.

Being the last few weeks of school, I have been really busy and haven't been able to update this page very much! I will most definitely try my hardest to keep you guys posted on the exciting things that are happening!

In other news I am stoked to have been working, and look forward to working with some new talented artists in the studio on projects of their own! I will post more information on this when things are more set in stone... for now that is all I will leave you with... PEACE!

After much hard work, and delay the CD is FINALLY completed and is ready to be sold! I am so excited because I have been working on this album for a very long time, and its finally in my hands...

Moving Ahead...

Just thought I'd put a quick update on here as to where I'm at with the new album. I have decided to put fifteen songs on the new CD, all of which I wrote, and am really happy with how they are turning out. I can hear a lot of maturity in my new songs, and I hope others will be able to hear it as well.

I have finished up the vocals for about eleven of the fifteen songs. Me and my brother went out the other day to take pictures for the artwork, and he is currently working on the design.

I have decided to name the new CD "Moving Ahead" not only cause one of my favorite songs on it is also named that, but because it is a theme I see consistently throughout the 15 songs. This is the second album, therefore I am Moving Ahead to greater things with this one. Moving Ahead also means to rid ourselves of those things that have had us bound for so long and move into what God has planned for us.

I have really poured my heart and soul into these songs, and I can only hope that that bleeds through the speakers when people listen to them. My greatest wish is that God will touch many lives through these songs and that they will make an impact on our young generation.

anyhow thats it for now, and I will be posting new pix from the shoot soon, and some new music probably shortly after the first of the year.

Hey everyone I just thought I'd let you know that I'm doing really good, and I've been super busy recently that's why I haven't posted anything for a while...

WAY tour was really good once again this year, it was very different than last year, but good nonetheless...

Our church is still in the midst of an awesome move of God, I believe that this is just the beginning of an even greater out pouring of his spirit! Tonight some of the youth got together for a prayer meeting, it was so awesome! Then after we were done praying we all stayed around and encouraged one another for a long time...it was BAWM...haha lol.

Anyways I've been recording a lot of new demos lately, since our studio got finished last week!!! Its so nice I love it... I'll post some pix of it later! I'm really excited about my new music and I can't wait till EVERYONE can hear it too!!!

So pretty much I don't know what else to talk about at the moment but I'm going to start to try and update this blog more often!

Ooh yea something else that I haven't posted about yet is that I'm learning how to play the guitar :) I'm so excited and I can't wait till I'm good enough to play in church!!! lol

God Is So Good

I just wanted to write this post about how wonderful God has been to me! Last night a bunch of us stayed at the church praying, drunk in the spirit till 1:10 am!!! I can honestly say that this was the most powerful move of God I have ever felt in my entire life! God spoke numerous times to us through tongues of interpretation! The time flew by so quick and it didn't seem like we were basking in his presence for 4 1/2 hours! but we were!!! I'm really at a loss for words, I don't have enough words in my vocabulary to express how amazing it was! The only way you will ever know is to experience it for yourself!!! I really believe that this is only the beginning of what God has in store for our church, and the city of Hanford...better yet, the WORLD!!!

Okay so WOW its been over a month since i posted a blog!

SO much has been going on in my life I can't even begin to explain it all... But I do want to say thank you to EVERYONE that has bought my album to help support my ministry...And If you havent bought it yet its NEVER too late ;) lol

Recently I have been writing and recording a lot of new demos, and I can already see tons of growth in me as a song writer and a singer and most importantly in my walk with God... there is always room for improvement, but I have come a LONG way since I recorded "Back To You" and I can't wait to share my new material with everyone!

We (JNP) are currently in the process of building a new (bigger) studio... and we have just recently upgraded all of our equipment to Pro Tools (which is what they use in big studios like in Nashville) well anyways... it is way better than what I recorded "Back To You" on.

I'm hoping to back into the studio next fall/winter (which means that an album would come out around spring 09) I can tell you for certain that this next album is going to be SOOOO much better than my first album in EVERY way (quality, songs, vocals, production, EVERYTHING)

SO pretty much in order for me to Make the new Album YOU need to buy the one thats already out, so that I can afford it...lol ;)

I'll Be Singing At Hanford Christian School...

I'm am so nervous about tomorrow (feb 26th) because I was invited to sing four of my songs for a chapel service at my old school... AAAHHHH! So Tomorrow at eight thirty pray for me cause I'll be singin my little heart out in front of the WHOLE student body. I'm pretty excited, but also very nervous (obviously). I'm going to be singing four of the songs off my album (What's Love, Fight and Win, Back To You, and Salvaged Souls)

It'll be pretty neat to go and visit my old stomping grounds, and talk with some of my teachers! I talked to one of my old teacher today on the phone, and she seemed pretty excited that I was coming to sing for them... So I'm trusting in God that EVERYTHING will go well, and I'll wake up tomorrow with a well rested voice, (and that I won't squeak, and embarrass myself)...lol well anyhow I'll try and post something about how it all goes soon...

Chocolate Phone = WORTHLESS JUNK!!!

Okay so I was one of the many people tricked into buying what seemed to be the "coolest" new phone out (at the time): The Chocolate. Ugh I'm warning you now its Junk! Don't make the same mistake I did...(I wish someone would've warned me!)

Back around June of 07, my 1st chocolate, began to give me problems. The touch sensitive buttons started to trigger on their own causing the screen to have spasms, and randomly scroll through my texts or contacts. This was really annoying, but I didn't bring it to the attention of the VZW store until my screen started freezing quite often... anyways to make a long story short, after much yelling and blood, they finally gave in and replaced my phone with another one.

Well...I thought that all my worries were over... I was terribly mistaken. Last week on my "new" phone, that I've only had for about a month, every time I would try and use the camera it would turn my phone off... that was really annoying BUT I figured that I could live without a camera on my phone.

This morning my phone seemed to be working fine, but this afternoon when I picked it up to text someone the whole screen was white... I restarted it several times and to my surprise NOTHING changed! So now I am very VERY angry (cause if you know me I'm a phone-aholic). My phone is broken... once more!

So PLEASE do not make the same BAD decision that I have made... you WILL regret it!

Something Exciting... For ME!

Since our family owns a recording studio (JNP Studios) we frequently have people coming in and out of the studio recording music etc... well anyways... recently Bro. Robert Garza has been in the studio recording the music portion of his upcoming album. My dad approached me in the middle of their session, the other day, and told me that bro. Garza needed another song for his album and since he knew that I was a writer he wanted to know if I had any songs that i had written that he could possibly record. Scanning the records of my brain I was trying to remember a song that I might have written that could fit into his style... well make a long story short I remembered a worship course and verse that I had scratched out in one of my notebooks...

When I showed them the lyrics, to my surprise, they really liked the song! We immediately began to put a tune to the words (which turned out to be really catchy)... SOOO all that to say: the song ended up turning out really REALLY good, and I am really pleased :)

My First Post!
